The students of M.Sc.(Zoology) with the help of Principal Investigator Dr. Neha Sharma, Convener, Research and Development Cell, Poddar International College have developed the eco-dye. The team of 7 – 10 students collected waste flowers, garlands at Govinddev ji temple, Jharkhand Mahadev temple etc and dried the flowers and extract colors from them. The same color is used to dye the cotton and silk fabric.
They have also developed bio manure which can be used by farmers and at home gardens. The fabric colored using eco-dye were displayed in various exhibitions including Rajasthan Heritage Week.
