Technotrack is an event where participants will demonstrate their incisive instincts for conceptualizing and designing technologies. The competition highlights the technical challenges as well as managerial dilemmas faced by technocrats.

Competitions of Technotrack, covers various genres under segments like Coding under Hackathon, Software Presentation, Seminars under Tech-sessions, Robotics under Robowars, Gaming under E-sports, Exhibition under Techxibition, E-waste to makeshift under Jugad, Techquiz and many more. Competitions have been instrumental in encouraging students to work in the technical field.

Techno Track

Everyone has watched and enjoyed Transformers since their childhood. Autobots using their advanced weapons to protect the Earth from Decepticons or Hugh Jackman punching through Robots in Real Steel. Ever wondered how a battle between two such extremely powerful futuristic robots would look like?

Technotrack coming up with the battle arenas and the best robots from all over the entries converging to battle it out to decide who takes the glory. Hold your breath to witness the extremely excited Robowars with charming artist performances for non-stop entertainment. Be a part of the audience for robowars at campus.

Rules:

Robot Specification: 

Size: At the start of a match the robot must fit into a square box of side 50 cm, with no height limitation. The design to stretch a robot’s body or its parts shall be allowed after a match has started, but must remain a single centralized robot.

Weight : The robot must weigh 50 KG (excluding the controls/wires) or less.

Robot Classes : Remote Controlled or Manual (Wired Control).

Power Specifications : The robot must be self-powered, i.e., power supply must be on-board. AC power supply will not be provided, except for charging your batteries (in the breaks only). No limit for power supply.

Rounds

Round 1: four teams will start the game two opposite teams will fight with each other for two minute centre dump will be opened if opponent is fallen out of arena or flip the robot of opponent team then those teams will be qualified for further rounds and remaining teams may be given a second change as a wildcard entry in second round.

Round 2: Two teams have to fight with each other according to number of attack by each team points will be allocated. and any team will make opponent team inactive more than 20 second then that team will earn extra bonus points. Points rules will declared at the time of the event.

Round 3: Round 3 will be declared on the time of event.

A Poster is an effective way to express emotions, catch & hold the attention and maintain interest in the topic. The participant can express their creativity towards I.T Sector through poster presentations.

Prize (Ist, IInd, IIIrd Winner)

Rules:

  • Posters to be original work, prepared by the applicants and not previously presented at any other competition; copying/replicating an idea shall be considered as plagiarism and the applicant shall be disqualified immediately
  • Applicants to submit applications individually and only one poster shall be considered for each applicant.
  • Posters must be made on ivory sheets and the size of the ivory sheet must not exceed from 12*16 inches (School Students) and (14*18) inches (College Students)
  • Submit your posters on or before event starts.
  • The poster should be on any given topic.
  • You can participate solo or in a team. Maximum should be two participants in a team.
  • Judgment will be passed differently at two levels- school and college.

Judging Criteria:

  • Coverage of Topic
  • Creativity and Innovativeness
  • Organization/Logical Sequencing of Ideas
  • Layout and Design
  • Power of giving answers to the questions.

Topics:-

  • Cyber Disease (for ex.- social media addiction, selfie addiction, gaming addiction, etc.)
  • Digital India
  • Innovative technologies in basic and applied sciences.

General Rules:

Theme for Hackathon:

  1. Environment
  2. Health
  3. Education
  • Your Solution must belong to the any one of the given theme.
  • You can apply as an individual or a team. All team members must apply individually. Teams can consist of up to a maximum of 4 members. All team members must have college id.
  • All code must be written during the event. You cannot use existing code.

Team:

  • All participants must bring their own laptops, no computers will be provided.
  • The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event program.
  • The prize pool will be split among the winners.

Schedule:

  • Be present at the venue on 20th December at 9 AM.
  • Submit your idea at the registration desk.

There will be only single sessions for coding and Presentation:

  • 10.00 AM – 3 PM on 20th December (Coding).
  • 3.10 PM – 4.30 PM on 20th December (Presentation).

Your project is eligible for submission only if it’s in working condition and has minimum quality standards.

Maximum 05 teams will qualify for presenting their work.

Include a brief description of your project in the README and mention the installation steps along with screenshots. Projects submitted without a proper README will not be considered.

Prerequisites:

  • Download all the necessary files (IDE, SDK, etc) prior to the event.
  • Internet connection will be provided, but it is best to have your own 3G/4G dongle.

Project

  • All code, design, art, music, SFX, and assets must be created during the duration of the Hackathon. You are however permitted to use any publicly available open source resources (APIs, images, datasets, etc.) in your project.
  • Participants are free to make plans, create wireframes, and brainstorm prior to the event.
  • All projects submitted for consideration for a prize will be subject to a full code and asset review in order to determine whether the work originated during the hackathon or not.

Ownership

  • All teams retain full ownership of what they have created during the Hackathon.

Legal: Organisers will have full right to cancel or modify the event without prior notice. In case of any discrepancy organizer’s decision will be final.

  • A team shall consist of max two students and only one team from each participating college can participate.
  • The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
  • Participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments.
  • Questions shall be in the form of multiple choice, True / False statement, Visuals, Specific-answer question etc.
  • Audience shall not give any hints or clues to the competitors.

Elimination Round

  • Each team would be given a set of question paper containing 20 multiple choice objective type questions. Time limit – 20 minutes.
  • Only 6 Teams would be selected for final stage rounds.
  • In case of a tie between 2 or more teams, further 5 questions would be asked for final selection. The selected teams shall have to appear for the final round.

Final Quiz – Stage Rounds

Round 1: A question will be asked to a team and if they are unable to answer, it will be passed to the next team – Rounds 2

  • Each team would be asked 2 questions each.(Objective type or specific answer questions)
  • 10 marks for each correct answer.
  • If a team cannot answer the question, they can pass the question & then the question would be forwarded to the next team.
  • Answering time is only 20 seconds.
  • Team discussion is allowed.

Round 2: Rapid Fire Round : –Each team will be asked as many questions as possible one after another in one minute of time.

  • 10 marks for the correct answer and negative 5 marks for the wrong answer
  • Team discussion is allowed
  • If a team cannot answer the question, they can say pass for the next question. The question will not be forwarded to the next team.

Round 3 – Buzzer Round- 6 Questions(1 Round): A question will be fired & the team who presses the buzzer first gets to answer first.

  • 10 marks for the correct answer and negative 5 marks for the wrong or if a team doesn’t answer after pressing the buzzer.
  • Unanswered questions will not be forwarded.
  • Answering time is only 05 seconds

Round 4 – Visual round – Rounds 2 : Teams will be shown clips and will have to answer.

  • 10 marks for each correct answer.
  • Each Team would be asked 2 visual questions. ( 1 slide in each round )
  • Visuals include hardware images, logos of Computer related product manufacturing companies etc.,
  • Answering time is only 20 seconds.
  • No passing to the next team. The audience can answer.

PUBG – Online Game

Rules of the event:

  1. All participant must have the normal version of pubg mobile
  2. The winners will be decided by the point system

Point system

  1. There will be certain point for position ie 1st=20points,2nd=15points, 3rd=10points from 4th to 10th =5 point each
  2. 3 points will be given for each kill no points for revival

Top 10 teams in 1st match will be promoted to 2nd round and then top 5 teams will be promoted to final round

Let me make you sure that top teams will be decided on basis of points

Chess

General Rules for chess:

  • You can apply as an individual.
  • You must have a college id.
  • Game will be of 15 Minutes.
  • Game will be played on mobile phone.
  • Tournament will be on knockout basis.
  • You cannot get any support during the match.
  • The one will lose the match who get Checkmate or finishes the time first.
  • Total Number of rounds will be decided after seeing the number of candidates.
  • Selection of piece colour will be decided by toss.
  • In case of a First draw a rematch of 5 minute will be conduct.
  • In Case of Consecutive second draw both the candidate will disqualify.

Team:

  • All participants must bring their own Mobile phone.
  • The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event program.
  • The prize pool will be split among the winners.

At the venue on 21st December at 9 AM.

Prerequisites:

  • Android or window mobile phone.
  • Participants are free to make plans, create wireframes, and brainstorm prior to the event.

Rules & Regulations:

  • Maximum participants in a team can be 4.
  • Time limit for shooting the content is 3 hrs.
  • Time limit for editing the content after shooting is 2 hrs.
  • Use of Digital Camera, DSLR, etc. (other than smartphones) is prohibited for shooting purpose.
  • Participants can use a laptop computer for editing purpose.
  • For editing and mixing in the Shortfilm, participants can use the material available on Internet (for effects and theme).
  • In the short film, 70% part should be shot with Smartphones.
  • Participants can use multiple Smartphones .
  • Gimbales, Smartphones lenses and other Smartphones accessories can be used while shooting.
  • Involving college campus in the Short film is mandatory.
  • Participants cannot use any preshot content available on internet, etc.
  • Registration for the Short film is free.
  • The video resolution should be minimum 720p.
  • The theme of the short film will be given on the day of the event
