Responsibilities as an Interior Designer
B.VOC stands for Bachelor of Vocation, which is a 3-year undergraduate program with multiple exits.
B.Voc, has been launched by the University Grants Commission (UGC) on skills development as a part of education with multiple entries and exits such as Diploma/Advanced Diploma under the NSQF levels:

In case, a student completes first year and cannot carry the course further, he/she will still get a Diploma. Another case is when a student leaves after second year, he/she will get an Advanced Diploma. For Degree, student has to complete all the three years.
B.Voc course focuses more on practical training rather than theoretical knowledge to enhance one’s employment opportunities.
B.Voc course is of three years and is divided into 6 semesters of 6 months each. The main agenda of launching this course was to teach adequate skills, make students industry and work ready and add shine to their employability skills. This course blends the vocational and business management concepts.
Subjects taught in this program are design, drawing, fashion and interior history and theory, material study, design research, documentation, communication and presentation, sourcing and marketing, trends and forecasting, entrepreneurship development, portfolio development etc.
The Interior Designing course covers the Residential as well as the Commercial projects and offers Professional Training, Development, Discipline, Colour specialization and Design skills as per the market trends.
