The NSS Cell of Poddar International College celebrated NSS Day with great enthusiasm and active participation of students and faculty members.
The program began with the lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a devotional Ganesh Vandana dance performed by the students. After this, Vice Principal Dr. Meenu Mangal motivated the students by emphasizing the importance of NSS and social service in shaping responsible citizens.
To infuse patriotic spirit, the students presented a patriotic song. Later, NSS programme officer Dr. Shilpika Tewari highlighted the activities organized by NSS during the previous year through a PPT and encouraged students to come forward and join as NSS volunteers.
Moving further, NSS programme Officer Dr. Vinod Kumar Jain introduced the ‘My Bharat Portal’ , an initiative of the Government of India to connect the youth with opportunities in leadership, skill development, and nation-building activities. He also guided students through the login process of the portal.
Afterwards, everyone present took the NSS Oath , pledging to serve the society and the nation with dedication. At the end Certificates were presented to the winners of NSS competitions and outstanding NSS volunteers , acknowledging their sincere contributions.
