Admission Procedure

Admissions to the programs offered in PGI subject to complete adherence to the admission guidelines as prescribed by affiliated state government university. Following are the instructions for the Academic Year 2026-2027-

Under Graduate Courses

  • Good interpersonal skills and XII scores will be considered (specially for BBA & BCA) in case of applications exceed seat availability.

Eligibility for BBA & BCA: XII with minimum 48% for general & 43% for reserved category.

  • Admissions in BA. BSC & BCOM are direct and on first come first serve basis.

 

Post Graduate Courses

  • Admissions in M.SC. (All subjects) are offered on limited seats on the basis of their graduation scores and interpersonal skills assessed at the time of personal counselling. 

Eligibility: B.SC. with minimum 55% for general & 50% for reserved category; the subject sought in MSC must be there in all three years of graduation.

  • Admissions in M. Com & M.A. are direct and on first come first serve basis.

Eligibility:

For MCOM- 50% in BCOM for general & 45% for reserved category

For MA Geography- B.A./B.Sc. with Geography as one  of the subjects with at least 55% for general & 50% for reserved category.

For MA Hindi & English Literature- minimum 48% in graduation for general & 43% for reserved category.

 

MBA & MCA

  • Admissions in MBA & MCA (RTU) are routed through the Centralized Counselling Process of RMAP & RMCAAP respectively. Management Quota is also there for admissions as per RMAP policy; admission on these seats is on a direct basis.

Eligibility: Graduation in any stream with minimum 50% for general and 45% for reserved category.

  • Graduates as well as Graduation final year students appearing in 2026 can apply for admission.

Design Courses

  • Admissions in Design courses are offered on limited seats on the basis of their qualifying exam scores & designing skills.

Eligibility:

For B.Des Fashion/Interior Design- XII with minimum 48% for general & 43% for reserved category.

For M.A. GPEM- Graduation in any stream with minimum 55% for general & 45% for reserved category.

  • Applicants with good scores in entrance exams like NIFT, NID DAT & UCEED will get priority in admission and will also be entitled to special scholarships.
  • Impressive Portfolio showcase will also be given weightage. 

General Guidelines-

  • Qualifying exam passed earlier/ appearing in 2026 aspirants can apply for admission.
  • Provisional admission can be sought & seat can be reserved before declaration of qualifying exams result; admission will be confirmed once the result is declared and he/she achieves eligibility.

UG & PG Courses

  • Fill Online Application Form at apply.poddarinstitute.org  or fill it offline by visiting our campus. Application fee is Rs. 800.
  • The eligible & selected applicants will be informed about the fee submission.
  • First instalment of Fee is to be submitted within the time given to reserve the seat.

MBA

  • Admissions in MBA (RTU) are routed through the Centralized Counselling Process of RMAP.
  • Fill Online Application Form at apply.poddarinstitute.org  or candidate may fill it offline by visiting our campus. Application fee is Rs. 1200.
  • Selected candidates will be informed about their status of admission and they have to submit fee latest by the specified date to confirm their admission.
  • First instalment of Fee is to be submitted within the time given to reserve the seat.
  • The admissions would be considered final only after the verification & submission of documents and submission of the registration & tuition fee.

MCA   

  • Admissions in MCA (RTU) are routed through the Centralized Counselling Process of RMCAAP.
  • Fill Online Application Form at apply.poddarinstitute.org  or candidate may fill it offline by visiting our campus. Application fee is Rs. 1200.
  • Selected candidates will be informed about their status of admission and they have to submit fee latest by the specified date to confirm their admission.
  • The admissions would be considered final only after the verification & submission of documents along with registration & tuition fee.

 

Design Courses

  • Fill Online Application Form at apply.poddarinstitute.org  or candidate may fill it offline by visiting our campus. Application fee is Rs. 800.
  • After filling the application form, there will be Portfolio Round. Portfolio could be anything that you have done by yourself. Sketching, painting, embroidery, photography, worked with material, or have written anything creative, narrative etc.
    • Students have to present their portfolio to show their creativity and interest in design course.
    • Student can submit the e-file of their portfolios (can be shared via WhatsApp, email, drive share, photocopies, or can be shown during their campus visit).
  • Offer Letter will be issued to the qualified candidates.
  • Qualified students have to submit the first instalment of the fees by the given date. If payment is not made by the due date, the seat will be offered to the next wait-listed applicant.

  • Transfer Certificate from last institution (Original)
  • Character Certificate from last institution (Original)
  • Migration Certificate (Original-To be submitted only by other than RBSE board passed students)
  • Two set of Xerox copies of all above documents
  • 5 latest coloured passport sized photograph
  • XII Marksheet Xerox copy
  • X Marksheet Xerox copy
  • Aadhar card Xerox Copy
  • Caste Certificate Xerox copy (If one belongs to reserved category)

 

Post Graduate Courses

  • Graduation (All Years/ Semesters) Mark sheets Xerox copy
  • XII Marksheet Xerox copy
  • X Marksheet Xerox copy
  • Migration Certificate (To be submitted in original and only by other than University of Rajasthan passed students)
  • Transfer Certificate from last institution (Original)
  • Character Certificate from last institution (Original)
  • Two set of Xerox copies of all above documents
  • 5 latest coloured passport sized photograph
  • Aadhar card Xerox Copy
  • Caste Certificate Xerox copy (If one belongs to reserved category)

 

MBA & MCA

  • Original X- & XII-mark sheets.
  • Original Graduation (All Years/ Semesters) Mark sheets
  • Original Migration Certificate
  • Original Transfer Certificate
  • Original Character Certificate
  • Two set of Xerox copies of all above documents
  • 5 latest coloured passport sized photograph
  • Caste Certificate Photocopy (if belongs to reserved category)
  • Aadhar card photo copy

NOTE: Applicants need to carry all documents in original at the time of admission for verification, submissions are to be done as mentioned above.
